The Endure ENT surgical sponge is packaged sterile and intended for single use only. The device consists of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) material which is capable of absorbing fluid several times its own weight
Intended Use: The device is designed for placement inside the nasal cavities or ear canal for use as a tamponade or hemostatic device to control excessive blood flow or persistent bleeding.
Preservation & Handling:
Preserve the product in a dry, well-ventilated place and in sealed conditions. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. The identification tag with the Lot no. should not be separated while in storage.
Storage condition: Store below32℃.

Material Composition
The Endure ENT surgical sponge is packaged sterile and intended for single use only. The device consists of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) material which is capable of absorbing fluid several times its own weight
Intended Use: The device is designed for placement inside the nasal cavities or ear canal for use as a tamponade or hemostatic device to control excessive blood flow or persistent bleeding.
Step 1. Prior to placing ENT surgical sponge
- Select appropriate size of sponge for placement into nasal cavity or ear canal.
Step 2. Removal of ENT surgical sponge
- Prior to attempting retrieval of a surgical sponge, the clinician may apply normal saline and wait for 5-10 minutes until the sponge is thoroughly moistened.
- Use a tweezer to gently pull the surgical sponge. If significant resistance is encountered, repeat step 2.a and apply pulling action again. Care must be taken not to incur any tissue damage due to excessive adhesion.
- Repeat step 2.b until the ENT surgical sponge is completely retrieved from the nasal cavity or ear canal.
